Hell. I really dislike the idea of travelling to a country where homosexuality is illegal.

Also, interesting that the only country in South America to still have homosexuality illegal is also the only ex-British colony in that continent.

Yes - and it's also one of the places where it's legal to be a lesbian but not a gay man. Wonder where they got that from..

At least we are one of the more progressive countries in the world - though obviously not exactly great yet.

The amount of red on that page is horrible.

Yeah, I would have major problems with that too. It's one thing to generally respect a prevailing norm (covering yourself up a bit for example), but to go somewhere where living your day-to-day life would be illegal.. I'd rather not give the country my currency.

It makes horrible reading. It's so wearying that so much of the world has such repulsive laws.

I wonder if we're getting any closer to things being better globally or we'll have a big dive in the other direction. Is it wrong to want global-level progression? Hmm.
